Time for a new look!

Sometimes it's fun to get a little wild, play around the edges, give your limits a nice, little, PUSH!  Well, when I saw the luscious pink colors "I Love Olive" hair designer, Prosperitus Nakamura, had for her new styles I definately wanted to put together an outfit to go with it.

I chose three hairstyles to to work with then I dug through and found another recent release from *Candy Doll* designer, Rebeca Dembo.  She made this adorable tank with a great little lace accent down the back.  It comes with in a multitude of colors and suited my new hairstyles perfectly.

I paired it up with a hot lace mini-skirt recently released from Solange! that is easy to dress up or down and was perfect for the look I was going for with the tank top and hair.  But I still needed something to give me that BOOM I needed so it was time to dig up some accessories.

The new Attention Whore bangles with the color changing gems  from Ticky Tacky seemed appropriate and it was easy to coordinate them with pink hair.  Then I added Ticky Tacky's Viva necklace in black and silver and I was done! ... or was I?

Shoes! Must have shoes!  She's So Unusual Shoes to the rescue.  What's not to love about two toned black and pink leapard print heels?

I was almost there, I could feel it but still something was missing. Then I found those new shades from Role Optic appropriately named "Bono" and put them on.  I love Role Optic.  Their sunglasses are wonderfully versatile and well made and great for covering up those dark circles from yet another late night out on the town... which is exactly what this new look demanded.  So excuse me, now that I'm all dressed up to set the night on fire, I've a party or three to go to...

The After Party...

So my two month holiday hiatus is over and it's time to get back to blogging.  I hope you all had a fabulous holiday season, I know I did!  I'm still not quite over all that "let's get dressed up and be festive!" feeling so my first blog for 2010 is about some sexy cocktail party style.

Today's dresses are from Son!a by the exquisite designer, Sonia28 Jie.  While I'm sure she's been around a year or two I only discovered her fashions toward the end of 2009 but I quickly fell in love.  Her work is glamourous and a bit avante garde, which is right up my little fashion alley.

This hot little number is called "Unfaithful" and, well, if you're gonna be unfaithful this design is sure to be the devil on your shoulder helping that goal along.  You can purchase it as a dress or as separates, skirt and top, for some fun mixing and matching.

Another thing I appreciate about the design work is the exquisite attention to detail:  matching seams, depth of fabric, and nice flowy prims for the skirt.  I expect that when I pay top dollar for a design, and Sonia delivers.

Now if you'll excuse me.. I have trouble knocking on my door and I need to answer...

A League of Her Own

*League* designer, Nena Janus, has long been one of my favorite designers.  Her careful attention to detail, saucy designs, and amazing sculpt work leave me eagerly awaiting her releases.   Her newest design, Unzipped, is no disappointment.   It's supershort, supersexy and the sculpted prims fit like a glove.

The dress is provocative with zippers "unzipped" from back to front to thighs and the sculpted bodice gives a true 3-dimensional feel to the decolletage which is incredibly flattering to the boobage.   The rear view is just as interesting as the front with the sculpted collar's chain and grip dipping over an elegantly exposed shoulderblade.

The dress is gorgeous on its own but I love to mix things up a bit so I gave my inventory a whirl and came up with a look that would make any leather lover proud  (and maybe make me wanna sing "It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A!").   Whatever look you choose to mix up with this dress, or even if you wear it all on its own, you're sure to get a few long looks and appreciative murmers.

(Shot on location in Maxwell Graf's fabulous Carriageway House at LagNMoor Village.  If you haven't been to Rustica you are missing out on some truly artistic and amazing builds!  You can visit it by clicking here.)

Versatility

If there is one thing I love when I buy a new outfit it's versatility and the new release from Solange! gives it to me.  Not only is it richly colored with fabulous attention to detail, it also comes on all layers.  But wait, there's more.   The top is made like a corset which means I get to wear just the top with whatever grabs my fancy.

So I tossed on a pair of jeans, my favorite old sneakers and the other stuff I love to wear when I'm goin' all out grunge then mixed in my shiny new dress corset.  The result? Success! (above).   Now I wanted to see what I could do with that flippy little tease of a skirt.

Having the ability to wear the skirt alone is a great bonus because, while the dress design itself is adorable all by itself, I also get to mix it up with other sexy swag in my inventory for a whole new feel.   So thank you to all you fabulous designers that make your designs on every layer and go that extra mile to make your outfits incredibly versatile.   All us fashion addicts thank you from the bottom of our little sculpted hearts. ♥

Soft and Sweet, *COCO* takes you there

Sometimes I want to wear something really soft and feminine, something that makes me feel sexy in a very quiet way and Cocoro Lemon's Frilly Blouse and Sweater absolutely does that for me.   The latest release from *COCO* is a girly girl's dream.   Paired with her free leather leggings this outfit is great for running around with your gal pals or heading to the mall for some serious shopping (my personal fave).

But... what if you want to just lounge around at home...

Paired with nothing but tousled hair and long legs this outfit is great for a lazy afternoon where the weather has just a hint of fall cooling the air and that special someone is waiting, all warm and cozy, on the sofa.

The attention to detail in the textures and sculpted prims makes this outfit a delight to wear.   It's mod so you can get the just right fit you need to make it fit you perfectly.  Because of how it is designed you'll need a more subtle AO if you don't want prims poking out here and there but for the most part it works just fine with most poses.

Check out the amazing ruffled look in this close-up (below).  Absolutely beautiful!

Laundry Look

Nothing makes a statement like black leather and some designers really know that! To put this outfit together I visited some designer shops known for their high quality textures and sculpt work. The good news is, while some pieces might take a bite out of your wallet (just do it, it's not a big bite, and these pieces are incredibly versatile to wear with just about everything! great wardrobe investment) most items are VERY reasonably priced and the leather leggings were completely FREE! That's right. FREE! Many designers are very generous and offer free gifts when you join their groups. The leggings were a free gift with the Coco group membership.
